We are situated in the scenic hills of South Kilkenny.  Our print and embroidery workshop is purpose built to suit our requirements. Our office is beside it and we hold a large selection of sample jackets, shirts, sportswear, corporate wear  and promotional products.  Should you wish to visit please make an appointment before hand so that we ensure that  someone is available to meet with you and have ample time to answer any questions.  We also offer site meetings with potential customers at their premises which saves you valuable time.  Once we have an idea of your requirements samples can be brought to this meeting for your perusal. Our address is Oldcourt,  Templeorum, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny. E32 DX07.

Following the initial sales enquiry, we present the client with various options so they may choose one to suit their requirements. When the customer decides, a sales order is created and this is used for purchasing, invoicing, etc. A visual of the design and product is sent to the customer for approval. Thread colours are chosen for the design and recorded for future use so the customer can use it going forward for any product. An initial stitch-out is produced and approved, because at this stage the design may be edited if necessary. All products are then embroidered and shipped to the customer. Our turnaround time once an order is approved is approximately 2 weeks or 10 working days. No changes may be made to the order after this point.

We use market leading embroidery machines Baurdan & Tajima, and also the worlds leading embroidery software to produce the highest quality embroidery.

Established in September  2008, we started out in retail selling  equestrian products and clothing.  Quickly we added a single head embroidery machine and vinyl printing equipment to facilitate supplying uniforms to some of our clients.

This side of the business grew quickly and in June 2012 we decided to concentrate our focus on this market and Custom Embroidery was formed by directors Alan and Catherine Carroll.   During this time we took the step of purchasing an existing embroidery business in Clonmel and relocated there for the next 3 years. While in Clonmel we added new printing processes to the business and concentrated our sales on the B2B sector.

In 2013 we upgraded 2 of our existing embroidery machines and also our embroidery software. That same year we launched our first website for Custom Embroidery and this helped grow the business further.

In November 2015 we had outgrown our Clonmel premises so the decision to move again was taken and  Custom Embroidery moved to Templeorum, Piltown with a custom built workshop and offices near our home and installed a new Baurdan multi head embroidery machine.

We have continued to innovate and grow since then with the addition of ceramic printing, tee shirt printing and in 2019 we have added a UV printer will enable us to widen our offering to existing clients with the introduction of printed pens, notebooks bottles etc.
